We would like to introduce Tono City, Iwate Prefecture, which is also the concept of our restaurant🏞️. Tono City is famous for its rural landscapes rich in nature and is also known as the "village of folk tales"📖. Famous stories include Oshirasama from "Tono Monogatari", the "Kappa Pond" where kappa are rumored to appear, and even a guesthouse where "Zashiki-warashi" appears👻. In addition, Tono City is a major producer of hops, and events such as the "Hop Harvest Festival" are held every year🍺. Many people may think of Hokkaido when they hear the word "Genghis Khan", but in fact Tono City is also the birthplace of "Bucket Genghis Khan", and lamb consumption and Genghis Khan culture are deeply rooted🥩.
